You can still make a personal injury claim for an accident at work if you didn’t report it. However, it’s a good idea to do so before commencing legal action against your employer, even if it happened a while ago. Your failure to report the accident may allow your employer to deny that it happened or argue that your injuries were less severe than you claim. You shouldn’t let that put you off seeking compensation, though. Other evidence, such as medical reports and witness accounts, can support your position.
