Sophie Preece
Sophie is a Solicitor at Mooneerams Solicitors in Cardiff. She was born and raised in Pontypridd and attended Pontypridd High School.
In 2022, Sophie completed her LLB Law Degree at Cardiff University and graduated with a First-Class Degree.
She joined Mooneerams in April 2023 and quickly became a valued member of the Personal Injury Team.
Sophie initially joined Mooneerams as a Postgraduate Paralegal. That role saw her assisting members of the Employers Liability (EL) and Public Liability (PL) teams by reviewing records, conducting legal research, and drafting court documents.
In September 2024, Mooneerams awarded Sophie a solicitor’s training contract. She passed the first part of her Solicitors Qualifying Examination shortly after starting her training, and the second part followed thereafter.
Sophie was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors on the 4th December 2025. She continues to work alongside her colleagues in the EL and PL teams.
When not working, Sophie enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and boyfriend.
To keep fit, she regularly attends the gym and spinning classes! Her passion for fitness and a healthy lifestyle is reflected in her dedication and commitment to her work.
