Ever since Mooneerams Solicitors first started out in Cardiff in 2002, the firm has committed itself to helping people obtain access to justice irrespective of their financial circumstances.

The firm’s commitment to helping others isn’t restricted solely to the field of law.

Mooneerams has never seen itself as being anything other than part of the local community. Whether it be supporting grass roots sport, championing the cause of local businesses or helping those who through no fault of their own, need a helping hand every now and then, Mooneerams have always been keen to raise awareness of, and make donations to, some worthy, and mostly unsung, local causes.

One such local community enterprise, is The Llanrumney Hall Pantry, which is run in conjunction with the Llanrumney Hall Community Trust. The Pantry is very much a community facility, and it aims to reduce food poverty in this particular area of Cardiff, by providing affordable and accessible food and household essentials to people from Llanrumney. It’s a superb facility run by local people to help local people.

Every pound raised goes towards helping The Pantry to carry on its superb work and to provide free pantry memberships to those who from time to time need that kind of help, so that they can get access to essential household items at no cost for their families.

Mooneerams recently donated £250 to go towards The Pantry’s running costs.

Mooneerams’ Managing Director Alistair Worth, said:

“The Llanrumney Hall Pantry is a great example of what can be achieved when the people of a local community come together to help each other. However, we recognise the Pantry also needs monetary donations to help it to pay its bills and we were delighted to have been able to make a small donation to help it do so.”
